A Gentle Checklist for More Lucid Dreams

Small behavioral tweaks that train your brain to notice when you are dreaming.

Lucidity is a muscle. The easiest way to build it is to keep the signal gentle and consistent:

  1. Install a calming pre-sleep ritual. Dim lights, journal for five minutes, and tell yourself, “If I notice anything unusual, I’ll check whether I’m dreaming.”
  2. Add soft reality checks. Every time you walk through a doorway or check your phone, ask, “Am I dreaming?” That habit carries over at night.
  3. Anchor your mornings. Before you move, replay the dream backwards and note any symbols. These notes feed the AI interpreter while also reinforcing memory.

None of this requires perfect discipline. Think of it as an experiment. Each week you learn which cues make you more aware inside the dream and which routines simply help you sleep better.
